Very stylish necklace by Tane consisting of a heavy sterling silver loop on a rubber neck piece. Both the clasp and the knot have Tane's mark as well as the initials S.G., likely the specific designer.
The neck piece measures 16 inches to the top of the silver loop. The loop measures 2 1/4 inches in length and 1 3/4 inches at the widest. The barrel shaped clasp has an additional magnetic closure as well as a safety loop. You won't lose it! The necklace weighs 142 grams. It is sold in the Tane box and presentation case.
Tane has been known since the early 20th century as Mexico's premier silversmithing firm.
