Early Mosaic Hexagons Quilt with Center Star: Circa 1820's

Early Mosaic Hexagons quilt with a central star. The star is made of 10 irregular pie shaped pieces. The entire rest of the quilt is made of hexagons. The background looks as though it is solid fabric but in fact, it is made of hexagons of the same material
that abut one another.
The quilt is made of a glorious combination of fabrics from the first quarter of the 19th century. Quite a few are glazed. The quilt is in excellent condition. It is a top tacked to a linen (?) backing.
Measurements are 90" x 104".
