This is a very fine example of a New York Beauty quilt. Both the piecing and quilting are well done. The triangles come to sharp points, an indication of skillful piecing. The quilting is done throughout the white areas with very small squares. The brown is quilted with concentric quarter circles. Starflowers at the intersections are a nice complement to the primary blocks. The quilt has been professionally laundered and is in spotless condition.
