It's not for nothing that this unusual quilt is known as a Cotton Crazy. It combines tradional blocks such as Nine Patch; Log Cabin; Four Patch and Birds in the Air with a variety of cheater's cloth (printed patchwork) blocks. Many of the cheater's cloth fabrics are most unusual.
The quilt is in pristine, unwashed condition. It was made in Pennsylvania; circa 1880's. Measurements are 76" x 78". It is quilted throughout with diagonal lines. The pattern is such that it is equally interesting seen in any direction.
