Diamonds and Wild Goose Chase Mennonite Crib Quilt

This Mennonite crib quilt is made of an unusual blend of patterns and colors. It is made entirely of triangles in different configurations . Squares in the central four blocks are halved to form triangles. They are framed with a Wild Goose Chase border. The quilt is beautifully quilted with lovely feathers throughout the three outer borders. The back is a Bars pattern typical of the quilt’s  Eastern Pennsylvania origin. It has been washed in its life softening the colors but in no way detracting from its impact. Light water marks are visible only in certain light. Measurements are 34”  x 36”.
