I've looked for a name of this pattern but have not had success finding one. Glad to hear from anyone who has such a name. What initially appears to be a simple pattern is actually more complex. Diamonds are seen within the eight point stars. In addition, the off blocks create a white diamond within a red square. Rows of triangles and diamonds can also be seen between the stars. Overall, the quilt has a nice positive/ negative effect. The quilt is in excellent condition. It is from the collection of the late Joanna Rose who was known for her unparalleled collection of red and white quilts.
