This Pinwheels quilt is made with a wonderful variety of printed fabrics from the third quarter of the 19th century. Repeated use of the peach colored calico gives it a nice consistency. The red and black plaid border is actually made from the same triangles but their positioning gives a different look. Overall, the quilt has a beautiful rich palette,
It is in excellent, unwashed condition. Measurements are 76" x 88"; Pennsylvania origin.
