Reversible Quilt- One Patch and Wild Geese; Circa 1880

This reversible quilt features one side in the One Patch pattern and the other in Wild Geese (also known as Birds in the Air). Although it was made in the late 19th century, certain fabrics from the mid century are present in the Wild Geese pattern. Interestingly, three of the blocks contain elegant glazed chintz. In excellent condition aside from slight color bleed in one of the glazed chintz blocks (as seen in the thumbnail photo), this quilt measures 62" x 74".
