Starbursts are just the beginning of patterning of this exciting quilt. Diamonds are filled with Robbing Peter to Pay Paul type circles that look quite different when used in half around the border. Red centers are strategically placed within the stars. The blue and ivory border chintz beautifully complements the printed fabrics of the interior. Tremendous care and planning went into making this a superb quilt. Measurements are 80@ x 88@. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1850.
