Beautiful small silver ladle with an ebony handle by silver master, William Spratling. The inside of the bowl shows the hand hammer marks while the outside is smooth. A side view shows the elegance with which the handle is made. It is wider toward the bottom and tapers at the top.It measures 6 3/4" long; the bowl is 1 7/8" in diameter. There is a tiny indentation on the wood handle close to the bowl; everything else is in perfect condition. 1940's hallmark.
