This is an outstanding example of a sought after pattern, particularly when made in crib quilt size. It is well pieced with an very fine mixture of colors. The small pinwheels in the center of each block as well as the center of the quilt give a nice sparkle. Repitition of the salmon/ coral color for the binding; inner border and block centers gives a nice flow. The quilt is in excellent, unwashed condition. It is quilted with one inch diamonds throughout. Measurements are 46 inches square. Because it is square, it can be hung on point for additional visual interest. Made 1920's; Ohio Amish.
