Concentric Octagons Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania

This stunning quilt of Concentric Octagons is a real eye dazzler. The Pinwheel center draws the eye to the heart of the bullseye.
The fabrics are all prints with the exception of the solid red which adds to its prominence.
The quilt is from the estate of Harriet Heffner in Limeport, Pennsylvania (Lehigh County). Measurements are 87 inches square. Excellent, probably unwashed condition.
