This Diamonds within Diamonds quilt does not have a name that I am aware of. The pattern is simple but quite effective both because of the color choices and the small scale of the interior diamonds. Repeating them for the inner border was a clever choice of a frame. The yellow is a solid color and the indigo two different calico prints. Made circa 1910.
Measurements are 63" x 74". Condition is excellent. The backing repeats the blue and yellow color theme with small flowers.
*The profits from this quilt will go to Jose Andres' World Central Kitchen, which is feeding more than a quarter million Ukrainians daily.
