This sophisticated country quilt takes a traditional Four Patch and adds a diagonal pattern by the consistent use of pink and white (shirting prints) blocks. Each square measures 2 inches to a side. The quilt is in pristine, unwashed condition. The backing is a plain cotton muslin. It measures 68" x 78". Pennsylvania origin; made 1880's.
