Bold and striking Sawtooth Diamond quilt in one of the most desirable color combinations of indigo and white. The central pattern is framed by four sawtooth squares, an unusual touch. Three borders also add to the strength of the design. Everything about this quilt is geometric. The white areas around the main pattern are done with concentric right angles; the interior white space is quilted with diamonds. The outer border is done with diagonal lines. The quilt is in excellent condition; made circa 1880. Measurements are 72" x 75".
