Unusual graduated beads necklace of volcanic ash. The material ls from the Valle Grande Volcano in Hemiz, New Mexico. The volcano erupted many years ago.
The beads are strung on cotton that can be adjusted in length. There are 17 beads , the largest of which is 6 inches in circumference. They are tan/gray in color with an interesting natural texture.
