This Lone Star quilt is dramatic and unusual. The triangle border around the arms of the stars is a great outline that continues the triangle frame. The dark green background beautifully sets off the central star. Each corner is filled with a large quilted wreath. In some light, one can see slight unevenness to the green background but it is not always evident. The use entirely of solid colors adds to the intensity of the pattern. Measurements are 82" x 84". Lebanon County, Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1880.
