This impressive Cross by Matilde Poulat (who designed under the name Matl) is unusually large and heavy. It is 3 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. It weighs 55 grams. The silver is adorned with amethyst; turquoise and coral as is typical of Matl's work. The cross has two loops on the top from which to hang it. It would look equally good on a silver chain or fabric cord or ribbon. The hallmark dates it to the 1950's; condition is excellent.
