Navajo Turquiose and Silver Medallion Pendant/ Brooch

This is an extraordinary brooch and /or pendant by Navajo silversmith Danny L. Wauneka. It measures 6 inches in diameter, filled with round and pear shape natural turquoise. Rope twist bezels surround all of the stones as well as the separations between each tier. This dramatic piece would work equally well on a man or woman. When not in use, it would also be a terrific table ornament. It is entirely handmade; circa 1960-70.
