Nine Patch and Octagons Quilt: Circa 1920; Maryland

This Nine Patch quilt actually forms two additional patterns. Triangles in the corners of the off blocks create Octagons and the joining of the peach triangles on diagonals creates an Hourglass pattern as well.

The quilt is a beautiful shade of peach, not often seen. It is softer in color than appears on my monitor. It is nicely quilted with diamonds in the white octagons and diagonal lines in the triple border. Measurements are 80" x 90", workable on several size beds.
Maryland origin; made circa 1920; excellent condition.
