This Nine Patch crib quilt is simultaneously crude and sophisticated. It is a basic pattern made with an unusual color palette. The consistently white centers surrounded by irregular placement of calico gives it a nice, irregular twinkle.
Measurements are 31 1/2" x 38 1/2". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880's. Slight fraying to the binding in some places but no other condition issues. The backing is cotton muslin.
