Peter Macchiarini Reversible Mixed Metals Bracelet

This brilliant, totally reversible bracelet was made by one of the stars of the mid 20th century Modernist jewelry movement, Peter Macchiarini. On one side, the nine links are circular designs of onyx; brass; copper and bone on sterling silver. Each link is a different design. The reverse alternates black onyx backgrounds with bone. Inlaid designs are made of the same materials with both circular and angular shapes giving something of a celestial feel to the patterning. The push clasp is ornamented differently on each side with a handmade safety chain and clasp. 
It is truly a two for one as both sides are equally well made and designed.

The bracelet has a wearable length of 7 3/4" and width of 5/8".
