This doll quilt comes closest to the Chinese Coins pattern. Three solid red Bars abut four rows of rectangles of patterned fabrics. The prints are unusual and combine well together. The piece is tied rather than quilted. The white ties combine well with the light elements in each of the printed materials. The quilt has been professionally mounted in a wood fram measuring 16 1/2" x 19 1/2". Condition is excellent. Made circa 1890.
The light areas are reflections from the glass. They are not imperfections on the quilt.
