It's not often that one finds a quilt with a matching pair of shams, especially those that are quilted. This Caesar's Crown is splashy for several reasons. The pattern; the double zigzag border and the fine quilting combine to make a striking quilt. It has been professionally laundered and is in excellent condition. The shams have also been washed and repeat the details of the quilt. The quilt measures 77" x 80"; the shams are 27" x 28". They were made circa 1880; Pennsylvania origin.
