Dozens of varieties of floral wreath quilt patterns were popular in the 19th century. Unlike most such patterns, this example includes bells between the flowers. It is finely appliqued and well quilted with an echo patterning.
The quilt is in excellent, unwashed condition. It has a few very small, light smudges that would be removed with a wash but for most people, that would not be necessary.
Measurements are 92" x 94", ample for a queen or king size bed.
