The maker of this Sawtooth quilt chose an exceptionally rich, and unusual combination of fabrics. A variety of large and small floral prints as well as plaids and dots are perfectly color coordinated with a variety of red and brown tones. The quilt has never been laundered and is in pristine condition. Measurements are 84" x 86. It is quilted throughout with diagonal lines. York County, Pennsylvania origin; circa 1870's.
