Schoolhouse is one of the most iconic of American quilt patterns. This lovely example has each Schoolhouse set in a vivid red frame with x's at the intersections between the blocks. Each building is a different fabric, most of which are prints. The background is white with a tiny gray/green print. Quilting is done in diagonal lines. Condition is excellent. Measurements are 67" x 82". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1910.
