Probably a unique Starflower quilt pattern. On first glance, it looks like a Carolina Lily but in reality, it is much more unusual. Solid colors set on double blue calico seen most often in southeastern Pennsylvania. Binding repeats the red of the stars and creates a wonderful narrow frame. Unwashed condition; circa 1880. Measures 85" square.
