Unlike the usual overall Tumbling Blocks quilt pattern, this one separates the blocks into clusters. This variation creates six point stars in the white open spaces. The use of solid color fabrics make the three dimensional pattern especially effective.
The quilt is in pristine, unwashed condition. Measurements are 72" x 80"; Ohio origin. Made circa 1920's.
