Wheel of Fortune Antique Quilt: Circa 1920; Pennsylvania

This unusual octagon stars quilt goes by the name of Wheel of Fortune. Puss in the Corner blocks are set between the main blocks, all of which are done in a beautiful, soft shade of medium blue. The octagons are quilted with designs of circular wreaths filled with small squares. The border and sashing are done with double rows of straight lines. A thin blue edging nicely outlines the entire pattern. The quilt measures 68 inches square. It has been professionally laundered and is in spotless condition. Made circa 1920; York County, Pennsylvania origin.
