Most would categorize this Economy Patch as a large doll quilt as it is 21 1/2 inches square. The blocks are nicely scaled to the size of the quilt. Each block is 2 1/4 inches to a side. It is hand quilted with straight lines and diagonal lines in the border. The binding is sewn by machine. The quilting is more prominent on the back side. The fabric on the back is quite unusual.
The quilt is in excellent condition. It is from Pennsylvania; made circa 1880's,
