This wonderful Thousand Pyramids crib quilt is made with a rich variety of late 19th century printed fabrics. The maker continued the pattern theme with larger triangles for the inner border. As if she hadn't pieced enough, she continued with a One Patch pattern for the reverse.
The quilt is in mint, unwashed condition. Measurements are 47 1/2" square. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880.
