Very fine Straight Furrows Log Cabin Doll quilt from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Wonderful scale; machine quilted. Interesting construction of border with one strip of the dark fabric used as a straight border and a wider one with a ruffle. Green areas consist of 7 different calico prints; pink is one calico and one solid. Mended area on outer border about the size of a quarter is shown in thumbnail photo. Crudely repaired but could be re-done by one with nimble fingers. Measures 20 1/2" x 13"; circa 1880.
