This pair of lead ribbon bow ties are a mystery. Who made them and why? Perhaps they were a practice piece for a metalsmith or an end of day idea.
The pieces measure 35 inches in length. The bow knots are 5 1/4 inches wide. They were probably made in the 1920's or 30's.
Regardless of the maker's original intent, they make lovely wall ornaments. Sold as a pair for $475.
