Imaginatively designed and well crafted Nine Block Album quilt. The blocks are a combination of traditional and original, both pieced and applique. The two borders create a bold frame for the blocks. The quilt has been professionally laundered and is in excellent condition. It is an unusually small size for this type of quilt measuring 69" x 72". It is quilted with straight and diagonal lines. Maryland origin; made circa 1870.
