Alphabet quilts are not often seen but made entirely with hand appliqued circles is virtually unknown. This is a summer spread - a top and back without batting. The grid and border are applied by machine. The quilt is in excellent, unwashed codition. The dots give it a a charming. playful appearance.
Measurements are 78" x 86". Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1900.
