Rarely does one find a Chinese Coins Crib Quilt. This example is made more unusual by the varied sizes of the "coins" as well as the inclusion of long strips placed at right angles. Five borders blend beautifully with the fabrics of the interior. The quilt is very effective hung wither horizontally or vertically. Measurements are 42" x 56". The backing consists of five Bars. Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1880. Very good but not perfect condition. The dark brown print shows a bit of thinness in some places.
