This Pots of Flowers quilt combined with LeMoyne Stars is an unusual and very successful combination. Each flower block is framed by a sawtooth border. Similarly framed between the flower blocks are LeMoyne Stars. The composition works well both vertically and horizontally. The quilt is nicely stitched with a cable pattern throughout the border and continuous feathers throughout the plain white rows. Measurements are 78" x 88". Pennsylvania origin; made 1870's. Condition is excellent.
