To say that this quilt is stunning barely describes it. The pattern; colors and technique make it a real stand out. Strong diagonals are created by the placement of lights and darks. The inner border and sawtooth outer border are a wonderful, unusual mulberry color. The black outer border is polished cotton quilted with a cable pattern. The backing is plain, slightly off white cotton as shown in last thumbnail.
Measurements are 81" x 87". Made in the 1920's; Holmes County, Ohio orifgin.
