This Ohio Stars antique quilt (aka Variable Stars) is as crisp as the day it was made more than 140 years ago. Clearly, it was packed away and never saw the light of day. Lucky for us.
The quilt is done on brick red ground with a nice variety of brown prints for the stars. Each block is
7 1/2 inches to a side. The quilt measures 66" x 78".
Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1880..
