Wonderfully scaled Nine Patch doll quilt in which each block is just half an inch to a side. The Nine Patch blocks connect so as to create diagonal chains. Sewn on the back is an embroidered label that says Nancy B. Vincent. It's a pity that we will never know whether Nancy was the maker or the proud recipient.
The quilt measures 21 1/2 inches square. It is nicely hand quilted with diagonal lines throughout. Condition is excellent. Made circa 1890; Pennsylvania origin.
