Much of the appeal of this quilt is that it is a bold patern executed with gentle colors. The blue is a soft, soothing tone. The quilt is well crafted. Piecing and quilting are well done. A variety of quilting patterns include flowers and leaves with chevron and cable designs in the borders. Condition is excellent. Measurements are 72 inches square. Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1920.
