Solid black triangles abutting strips of lighter material, both solid and printed, make for a striking pattern in this Roman Stripe quilt. The solid black blocks make for a strong diagonal pattern. The front of the quilt is all wool and the backing is a printed cotton. Each block measures 4 1/2 inches to a side. The quilt is 67" x 76". Condition is excellent. Pennsylvania Mennonite origin; made circa 1900.
