This unusual Light and Dark Diamonds Log Cabin quilt is made with a terrific variety of late 19th century printed fabrics. Each log is less than half an inch in diameter allowing for the combination of many materials that blend perfectly together. The quilt does not have batting. The backing is made of squares of various brown printed fabrics. The quilt measures 78" x 88". It would serve better on a bed than a wall as the construction is not perfectly even. Made 1870's; Pennsylvania origin.
