It's a lucky day when one finds a genuine Album Crib Quilt. It's an exceptional day when one finds an Album Crib made with the precision of this fine example. The central Floral Wreath is surrounded by 4 LeMoyne Stars. Each of the corner blocks is an ornate Mariner's Compass surrounded by floral and geometric designs. The patterns are both pieced and appliqued. No two are the same. The quilt has been professionally laundered and is in excellent condition. It is quilted with a pattern of small diamonds. Measurements are 34 1/2 inches square. Made in Pennsylvania; circa 1890's.
