Windmill Blades Log Cabin Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania

Solid colors enhance the whirling movement of this Windmill Blades (aka Pineapple) Log cabin quilt. The choice of colors is unusual and pleasing. It may be difficult to tell but the outer border is a dark teal blue/green. The very light pink and celadon are an interesting choice rather than the more often seen white for contrast. The outer border is nicely quilted with flower medallions and scrolling feathers.
Condition is excellent. Measurements are 82" x 84. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880.
