Thi is an early classic pattern Lancaster County Amish quilt. While most often we think of Diamonds and Bars as the most iconic patterns, on occasion the Amish borrowed patterns from the "English" (anyone who is not Amish).
The colors are deep and rich with fine quilting, Between the Nine Patch blocks are floral medallions and the classic feather pattern throughout the border. The front of the quilt is all wool with a cotton backing. It has velcro sewn to the backing so it is ready to be hung if one chooses that method. The quilt has a nice sprinkling of light colors among the darker tones. Measurements are 79" x 86"; made circa 1900.
