A well crafted version of the traditional Carolina Lily pattern. It is delicately pieced and appliqued with especially fine stems and leaves. It has a thin batting so although the quilting in the white blocks is very well done, it is not particularly prominent. Each white block is quilted with a wreath with protruding flowers. The quilt has been professionally laundered and is in excellent condition. Measurements are 90 inches square. The double sawtooth border makes an excellent frame. It is interesting to note that the two opposing corners are ended the same way.
