Nine Patch Crib Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania

This classic 19th century Nine Patch crib quilt was made with a well balanced group of fabrics. The top row of similar tones was probably made to indicate the end used for the head.
The quilt is in excellent, unwashed condition.It was made circa 1880; York County, Pennsylvania. The backing is a Bars pattern. Measurements are 40" x 49".
