Five strand Native American (probably Navajo) coral necklace interspersed with turquoise. The coral consists of oval shaped beads and the turquoise beads are irregular in shape. The necklace is 33 1/2 inches long. The 2 1/2 inches closest to the opening consist of tiny heishi (shell) beads. All are strung on a cotton cord. Probably made about 1950.
